With all that's happening around us, there can be a calm and peace surrounding God's people. According to James the Apostle of Christ, patience or endurance is produced out of tribulations. With every tribulation and trial, the heat is turned up so that the Lord can remove impurities from our lives. We were not designed to cave under pressure, but that it strengthens our person and resolve. The same amount of heat that softens steel, hardens an egg. You can be tough as steel, but God can soften you just by applying the heat. You are fragile as an egg, but God can harden you to accomplish the most difficult of tasks, simply by adjusting the heat. Don't be shaken by the pressure of people, God is the one who controls the thermostat!
